Whistleblower Fired for Reporting on Child Protection Worker

      Whistleblower Firewhistleblower firedd from DCF

A Whistleblower fired from the Kansas Department for Children and Families, files a lawsuit against the department. The supervisor was fired after reporting that one of her subordinates falsified paperwork stating that she had visited the residence of a child under six years old who had apparently been abused or neglected. The Whistleblower, Karen King, a supervisor at DCF, found out the child protective worker who reported that she made the visits, was indeed off from work on the dates the worker specified the visits took place. After Supervisor King took the matter up the ladder to her supervisors and pressed it, she was terminated. She subsequently filed a lawsuit against the Kansas Department for Children and Families.
